Happy Father’s Day!

Dear Dada,
I love you so much – you are the best Dada ever. You read me lots of books and add funny things to them like how I shouldn’t put underwear in the freezer. You also always share you ice cream with me – which makes me happy. I love to blow you kisses and wait by the door for you to get home everyday. I love playing with you outside with my toys and trying to escape. Most of all I love how excited you are to see me every morning peek into the shower and how much you say you love me every night when we say our prayers. Happy Father’s Day to the bestest Dada ever!
Love,
Maddie.

Hey there cowgirl.

For the record – Maddie went in her room and came out wearing her hat all on her own. She does stuff like that. Sometimes it’s a hat, sometimes a book, sometimes the shade for her nightlight – you never know what you’re going to get.

”Dada, Dada??”

Like I said, she did it on her own. I think it’s because she knew it matched.

Eating like a big girl

Recently Maddie has taken a liking to eating with a fork. It’s pretty messy so she eats without clothes on – but she does really like it! She can’t really get the food on the fork but she likes to eat it off – like a big girl.

Here’s how its done:
1. Get food onto fork and show everyone you have done so.

2. Awkwardly shove fork into mouth.

3. Make sure all of it is in.

4. Double check all food is in mouth.

5. Make scary face that Dada taught you.

Wait, could you tell we had spaghetti? ‘Cause we did. Like I said, messy.

Oh we love the water table.

I love that I can put it in the shade and Maddie can play. Maddie loves it because she can splash water everywhere and get soaked. Its really a win-win. We try to play in the morning before it gets too hot and so we don’t have to worry about sunblock cause there is no sun on the side of the house. I may take a hundred pictures while she is playing, but she loves it. And I love her little bathing suit and her big wet smile.

Pretty in blue.

Maddie has big blue eyes. I can officially say she gets that from me. Really everything else is Donny. Although some people say (aside from Donny) that she is beginning to look more like me – to you people – I love you. Donny says she is like me all the time, but I think he may be referring to her attitude, since she loves to put her hand out and say “no.” Anyways, I love to dress Maddie in blue – it brings out her eyes. Which cannot be seen without a bow holding her hair back.

Maddie’s favorite “peek-a-boo” book from Gamma.

Now if that doesn’t look suspicious – I don’t know what to tell ya!

Then we tried to do some close ups – maybe a picture of Maddie’s face – maybe even a smile . . . . well . . . .

Yeah, she was that happy.

Trying to get a picture

It’s pretty hard these days to get Maddie to stay still for a picture, or really for her to even look at me. She loves having her picture taken, but she is always going a mile a minute – it makes it hard. It also doesn’t help that she loves to touch the lens too.

Starting to feel better.

Poor Maddie has been sick since Friday. So, Donny and I were thrilled that little miss was up to dancing and giggling tonight. Looks like she is starting to feel a little better!
Don’t mind Donny singing!

Giggle Girl!
