Long Weekend Lake Fun

Ahhh, nothing says “hello summer” like a three day weekend and some time on the water. Uncle Rick came in Friday night and we headed down to the lake on Saturday for some family fun! We had a blast piling the crew onto the boat and going around. The boys skied and Maddie even did a little swim. It wasn’t as hot as the rest of the weekend, but the water was still mild.

Uncle Rick hit the skis as soon as we had the chance. It could look like he didn’t fair too well because I took a thousand pictures capturing incidents like this:

And Dr. Pop acted really funny.

Maddie also took some time to drive the boat too.

. . . and a turn on the jet ski . . .

. . . and got some serious “boat hair” . . .


Oh, and Donny skied too on our way back from dinner as the sun was going down, it was really pretty – the sun and Donny doing the slalom.

And no, I did not enhance Donny’s skin color.

Wordless Wednesday: Water Fun

Good times around the house.

Today was a fun filled day around here. We played inside, we played outside, we napped we ate, we had fun! Oh, and I took a few pictures!

Fun Times at the Water Table

It’s hot. What a perfect time to get out Maddie’s “birthday” present from Gamma – a water table! I set it up and put it in the sun on the deck to let the water warm during the day. Then that night we had April and Emery over to play/eat and let the girls go at it. Emery is so cute cause she is just so content standing there and playing. Maddie, who I’m pretty sure used to do that, now likes to play and move all around. Also, apparently Maddie is really into dumping water out of the table. End result – two pretty soaked cuties.

Like I said, water dumping!
